Got back into biking over the last 12months, but none of my mates are interested. I'll happily go for ride outs on my own, but now the weather is nicer, and evenings longer I was wondering if there are bike nights during the week around the Berkshire / Hampshire / Surrey area?

Just looking for excuses to get out in the evening and see other bikes.

Any recommendations? Im based in Reading.

Cheers

H Cafe bike night is every Monday. I've never been as I don't really get out in the week day evenings. I live close to the road out of Reading so hear everyone wanging it on the way up. Must be popular.

Expect Loomies have a regular thing too.

I'm between bikes at the moment, otherwise I'd suggest a ride out. I generally ride alone these days.

Try the Iron Bull Roadhouse on the A30 - I think it is Thursday for the bike nights there. Lots of announcements on Facebook.

There's always bikes at the Newlands Corner on a sunny weekend too.

Alton station cafe used to have a bike night, assume it's still going

Sometime things on at Popham and/or Blackbushe airfields too.

There's an IAM club that meet in Wokingham and do regular social rideouts too if you're interested in that kind of thing

Altons one has been impacted by the ridiculous new car park rules by the cafe, idiots .....

To the OP, I'm just on the northern edge of Reading, Waterfront Cafe on the way to H Cafe also attracts a number of bikes ... and has a far better BLT

Monday - H Cafe near Benson good turnout but APPALLINGLY bad food

Tuesday - Pinewood (Crowthorne). Again, terrible food

Tuesday - Hampshire Biker bds bike night (can't remember where exactly, somewhere near Basingstoke). Average food.

Wednesday- Alton Station Cafe and Loomies. Station has cameras now and average cameras near Loomies. Both average food.

Wednesday - Crown Inn Kings Sombourne. Big turnout and good food but very busy and full of tts with backpatches.

Thursday - iron Bull. Food quite good but busy and not a lot of room. Sons of Anarchy wannabees turn up in force

Thursday- Choppers Cafe near Marlborough. Appalling food but great roads.

Thursday- Hayling Island bike night. Really quite a big one. Bit further but easily doable.

Loads of other places nearby.

I'm in Tilehurst.

I'd be up for that (if I had a bike whistle)

I've had lunch at the Waterfront once or twice. Nice spot.
