Which incident?
Iddon/A Irwin or O'Halloran/Hickman?
Felt sorry for Iddon as he was up near the front, but he did leave a gap. Racing incident in my book. Hickman looked fairly ruthless but didn't see the run up to the move, and O'Halloran had no pace.
Great to see Ryde get a result. He's often gone well at Donington.

Yes there was a gap but how many times has Andy Irwin gone for a gap with way too much enthusiasm? I get he's a racer and if he isn't going to try and improve, then he should give it all up but as Whitham said during Superpole, Andy Irwin has two speeds, stopped or flat out and his impetuosity has cost 2 people a potential points scoring result.
Hickman does seem to have a somewhat rambunctious relationship with O'Halloran and he got docked 2 seconds for that move which dropped him to 13th i believe but the FHO beemers seemed to be struggling yesterday and O'Halloran is having a mare of a year but even so, was a good save to stay on and get back with the bike and more importantly himself intact.
Yep, Kyle Ryde needed that result yesterday and if he can do the double today puts him in good shape towards the top of the standings and he can build on it from there.

No action taken for the Iddon/Irwin incident. Good call.
What was that famous quote about F1 drivers? If you no longer go for a gap, you are no longer a racing driver. And if you go for a gap that is no longer there, you are Pastor Maldonado
Something similar springs to mind for Andy Irwin - though i'm sure Scott Redding would have something else to say - but yeah i guess a racing incident and Harrison managed to join in all by himself.

Didn't see it, but no shock A Irwin is involved, bloke is a walking penalty magnet, I get why he goes for gaps, but it always seems to be him taking down others. Maybe why he flits form team to team regularly.
To be fair, Iddon ran wide at the Melbourne Loop and left the door open, Andy Irwin did what any racer would have done, and went for the sizeable gap then Iddon closed the door. Hardly his fault on this occasion, it was 50:50 this time.Lost Soul said:

What had made you change your thoughts on the incident since making this statement?Yes there was a gap but how many times has Andy Irwin gone for a gap with way too much enthusiasm? Also, i was responding to the comments that because he was involved, it must therefore be his fault.

The common denominator is him, he has got a lot better. He was downright dangerous in Supersport to be honest and I would not have wanted to go into a race with the guy!
But if it is a racing incident, so be it, but surely eventually something has to give with Irwin, his brother has calmed down massively in recent years after being a bit wild early on, but Andy has always been wild, this is not motocross where you can get away with that sort of stuff, you can put peoples lives at risk. He is one of those guys who you dread trying the roads, as he would not last 5 minutes.
