Morning all does anyone have any recommendations for travel insurance ?

I’m off to Le Mans in a few weeks, I have bike insurance, breakdown, ect, I would hope it’s not needed but should I need to use the medical services abroad anyone recommend a good biker specific travel insurer ?

You need to read the small print on travel insurance as many won't cover you on a motorcycle and of those that will cover you, many have a 125cc limit.

I have an annual policy with Coverwise that does cover me on my bike. I've never had to claim so can't comment on that part of the process but they seem competitive in their cost/service offering.

I have a yearly Allianz policy, as above, check the small print when you do take cover out

Could always try Assureton - use them for Euro TDs but I’m sure they cover normal bike trips.

There are several that will not cover sub 125cc motorcycle usage by anyone who does not have a full bike licence, that’s because many countries allow riding of those smaller engined bikes on a car licence

Try LV, they cover me for my 1200cc for travel to Europe. Very good reviews too.

I have travel insurance through my bank (NatWest) it's underwritten by UK insurance LTD and covers me while I'm on any bike, as long as I rode that bike from the UK to the destination. Otherwise cover is limited to a 125 machine. Hope this helps
