Apart from the T7 being better off road is there anything in it at all (for the average Joe)

Yes - very different bikes

If you want to go off road get the T7 although it's a bit slow on road for me

If you just want to tour get the VStrom (although there are many better bikes IMO)

I'll add that Ryan F9 knows loads more than I do and he rode a late VStrom on / off road, I can only think that it was sponsored confused

That vstrom was 6(?) yrs ago? He wasn't happy to get it but he got on with it in the end laugh

Was it ?

I don't watch everything in order but I thought it was only 2ish

I'd be interested to know what the question was, that gave the answer of only these two bikes

Ah found a more recent blog where he talks about the 1050 vstrom in high terms.

I've got one. Do I like it? I'm starting to slowly but I'm always in that horrible mindset... what else is out there.

I think you've had more bikes than me now, you change that often. Not thought of running two bikes, keep one that does everything you want, and one for curiosity/fun?

I get where you’re coming from.
I’ve got a T7 and it’s a great bike with a great engine, but to be a full or tourer ( for many) it would be a little underpowered. Having said that Nick Sanders has been round the world a number of times on his and having been out riding with him, he can put much more powerful bikes to shame.

Op take one for a ride
