I have some generic bar end mirrors which I’ve test fitted on my Tuono 660.
I like the look
However I’m wondering about the incorporation or total removal of the end weights.
I think I can use the weights to clamp the mirrors on but gaining width of course. Trying to avoid that.
Or lose the weights?
Or buy stubbier weights if available.
Being a novice I don’t want to spoil the bike setup taking off factory fitted/designed items.
Any thoughts?

Just fit them on

I take the stock ones off mine and put those teardrop bar end mirrors on all my tuono 1100s and often ride like a prick

No bar shakes or worries

Cheap eBay jibber jobbers and even at 170+ the bike is nothing but totally stable.

I've never noticed increased vibration from removing the bar ends - if you do, fit them back on

The weight of the mirrors may be close to the weight of the weights (sorry) anyway so you may not notice any difference.
