Not good for Hickman, Dunlop haven't got any NW200 spec wet tyres for him and the other manufacturers won't even sell him any of theirs!
Not forgetting the delaminating debacle last year.I’d probably never buy a Dunlop anyway but this type of thing means I don’t even check a price when looking at new tyres.

Dunlop aren’t supporting any of the major road races officially, including Hickman at the NW200. At least, its what I understand from what I’ve read.
Due to the delaminating tyres I would estimate.
Although, all the TT races were won on Dunlops last year, all the riders at the NW and TT running Dunlops are doing so without the normal official support.
amongst that support I would guess there were race wets suitable for a road race, which aren’t available as they’re not supporting it.
It’s the worst scenario for Dunlop as they’re not supporting the races, but people are using their tyres, which could be a PR disaster and they have even less control how their product is used or not.

Sounds like the sun needs to be turned down a bit for tonight’s racing. Too bright in their eyes is the latest complaint
Given how someone was moaning on the MotoGP thread that riders have silly sponsored sunglasses there's an opportunity for someone here. My (ACU approved) helmet has a drop down sun visor...Gassing Station | Biker Banter | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
