Anyone catch this the other day? Interesting how the one guy to get in serious trouble was the one who held his hands up to it all.

Also seems like the short haired angry cop and the butch woman has a real axe to grind against bikers. Seem to remember him being an absolute tt to someone on another episode recently.

I seen it. The copper threatening the mate of the no license lad to give him his information made me want to punch the telly. What a little Hitler he was.

Watched it.

Must admit I've never got the whole group riding / power rangers thing but quite happy if others to get enjoyment out of it. Some of the characters both those stopped and those doing the stopping come across as right tts. I'm also very careful about what gets binned in the edit for the sake of "great" telly.

That's two weeks in a row that bikers seemed to be the main focus of the programme, now whilst it seems as though we've been a bit victimised I wonder if it was more of a gentle reminder as we are now getting into the riding season.

IMHO neither side have come out particularly well in the episodes shown. Displaying a good attitude goes a long way to getting your point across.

Could definitely have been handled better, by both the Officers and the Riders once stopped.

Some of the Police car overtakes had me wincing. I know the camera can sometimes skew the view a little bit but there were some pretty reckless looking close overtakes by the police vehicles to get to the front riders of the bike groups. You can half understand why the one guy kicked off for nearly being knocked off his bike totally unnecessarily.

A few of the motorcyclists seemed like bell ends. Some of the police officers seemed to be quite wound up. Bearing in mind the bloke who ran had his case dropped due to ‘evidential difficulties’, I guess the police staying calm and professional is critical.

It's clear when watching that the red mist comes down over some of the coppers and it becomes a competition, which is when it gets dangerous.

I always wonder how or why they believe physics doesn't apply to a car if you bolt some blue lights on the top...

What a complete jobsworth c#nt. Id have told him to do one, its got fk all to do with the poor lad minding his own business on a ride out, bully. Clearly the sort of ahole that was bullied at school.

Is it really ‘perverting the course of justice’ to not say who someone else is ?

Or is that the ‘evidential difficulty’ … How the bloke was identified ?

It's my first hand experience that police get shouty and threatening when they know they're pushing false or unfounded allegations.

Some police seem to think the job is about their personal agendas and them rather than enforcing and upholding the law.

Separation of Powers. Police (the Executive) apply the law, Judges and Juries (the Judiciary) make judgments.

I think it showed both some police and some bikers in a bad light but I suspect that was at least partially intentional as it made for "good TV".

That's one reason I rarely watch TV. Much of it is obviously story boarded, contrived and dumbed down.

F1 or Formula Netflix seems to be going that way. It's not the competition, it's the show and viewing figures.

Many similar programmes showing the police at work also do this. I do wonder why they allow those clips to go out, and wonder whether the officers involved are ever challenged about it when the cameras are off. Probably not!

I'm not sure whether North Yorks has a reputation of acting like that because n defense of the police, the Motorway cops show thats on after it and follows Cheshire police is a stark contrast.

They all seem genuinely decent blokes and don't seem hell bent on going after motoring enthusiasts.

I often think this watching traffic cop type shows. Speeding at 60 through a residential area in a private car is (rightly) held to be a serious criminal offence and a threat of injury or death to the driver and bystanders.

But it's totally fine and proportionate with no mention of risk to the public when the coppers are chasing down a "marked car" with a couple of bags of weed in it.

In fact, don't get me started on the wasted police resources chasing down small-time drug dealers...

Im with you on this, legalise it. Tax it, regulate it and eliminate the black market. Job done. But then what would these morons do? They'd have to do a proper days work.
