Hello there, I’ve got a GSX750S which I’ve owned for a couple of years and whilst I love most things about the bike I find the seat comfort really lacking especially after an hour or so. Looks like there are a couple of aftermarket options available - Corbin and Bagster but both look pretty expensive and not available directly in the UK. Anyone aware of any other options / solutions aside from changing the bike! I’ve never had a problem with any motorcycle seat in the past including when I owned a KR1-S about thirty years ago! Thanks

These guys are Uk based and I’ve heard good things but not used them myself https://www.sussexmotorcycles.com/elite-comfort-mo...

You could get a used seat and have a go with memory foam yourself.

There's Viking near Brands Hatch, https://www.viking-motorcycle-seats.co.uk, they do custom/modified seats, they will mod your original to suit, a couple of mates have used them and only had good things to say.

Have you looked for local motorcycle seat specialists?

I have asked in a couple of local dealers but doesn’t sound if there are any places nearby, easy enough to get in touch with the other places suggested thoguh

As an alternative option, you might want to look at an AirHawk seat cushion. Inflated to the right level, they can be all day comfortable even when sat on top of extremely uncomfortable seats. This approach has the advantage that it can be moved to other bikes or used by a pillion. I use one on my H2 SX ...

Nothing better than a Bagstar and Dutch importer will discount the price to cover customs costs.

Thanks all. Bagster seems to have a good reputation but the one for my bike seems to come in at £290 which I guess could be worth it if it solves the problem and I keep the bike for a few years. Feels a bit pricey though so want to look at alternative options first. Air cushion might be difficult as I’m not that keen on raising the ride height given I’m only 5’ 8 but thanks anyway

So much more comfortable than stock, I rarely lasted more than an hour on my Z1000 and can stay on the Bagster literally all day.

Thanks - do you know if any UK based dealers supply them? No worries if you don’t know though. Cheers

These chaps are excellent and will modify to suit your requirements, not a generic 'improvement'.

They put a gel pad into the seat on my Triumph which transformed it. Quite cheap as they were able to use the original cover too.

Sorry, but the only importer I know are ChromeBurner… very reliable and they knocked the import taxes off the price of the seat.
