I'm hoping to canvas a bit of opinion from experience. I currently ride a Triumph Sprint ST 1050. I can get one foot flat with the other on a peg, or I can just get toes down on both feet. I'm 5'6" (on a tall day).

I really would like an adventure bike and the S1000XR has caught my eye. Views on the lowered suspension and seat vary. Does anyone have any experience of this?

Any help appreciated.

Thanks

My daughter is 5’8” and can both feet on the ground when sat on my 2018. It’s noticeably heavier than anything else I’ve had and does need you to be a little physical at times when pushing it around. Obviously it’s also a bit of a if you’re an inept muppet and drop it on a hill.
