Boots and jeans

Quick question, do I wear my jeans tucked inside my bike boots, or over the top of them. Don't want to look like a fool!!!

Depends on the cut of jeans and the style and height of the boot probably.

If they fit over thats the way to go otherwise tuck them in.

Over, unless you're going for the full jet helmet, Lewis Leathers jacket, and white seaboot socks look.

The last time I saw this discussed was in the 1990s when John Kocinski used to wear the legs of his leathers outside his boots in World Superbikes. Whatever is most comfortable I'd suggest.

If it suddenly starts to rain you will have the answer to your question when your boots start to fill up with water!

In the 00s was easy going over as everyone wore baggies

It then went skinny. If you can go over I'd say this but otherwise tuck in but I do think it looks a bit spondy

I saw a right throbber out today - riding with his jeans OVER his boots!




Just messing - do what is comfortable for you - bks to what anyone thinks! I ride with my gear (be it textiles or jeans) over boots as that is what I've found works best for comfort and keeping the water out!

Jeans in the boots generally means you haven't got your boot strapped up tight enough.
No way could I do my boots up with my jeans stuffed inside.

Definitely tucked in. Looked so cool with my black/red boots. Photo outside the cop shop where my mate with the GSXR was "producing his documents". c1988
