Respect is due to this bloke, I think.

If that's what floats his boat, fair enough but I don't see the fun in riding that cautiously

IE I wouldn't ride in those conditions unless I had to

Is it not all about Sponsorship and getting paid for what he’s doing ?
Honestly would you consider a trip in the freezing cold with snow and slush with poor road conditions and unseen potholes to be enjoyable ?
There are a lot of words that could be used, but I’m afraid respect isn’t one of them.

His judgment looks a bit dubious, worst possible time to bike to the Hebrides, worst possible place in the UK to bike to in January. Mildly impressive he managed to keep upright I suppose. Think of it as the opposite of a track day, entirely about the destination and the scenery and not at all about lean angles. But equally pointless IMHO.

Nobody but a Youtuber looking for clicks would ride in those conditions. I scrolled back to the rest of the video and found his "tribute" at Dunblane at best mawkish and inappropriate.

I also like his channel, and he seems a genuinely nice bloke, but as most others have said I don't see any pleasure in riding in those conditions. I did watch all the episodes of this trip though, and would love to visit the Hebrides in better weather.

Although I do have a grudging respect for the likes of him and TeaPot1 that ride all year round, I don't mind admitting I'm strictly a fair weather biker, if you're not enjoying it what's the point.
