Just spotted, (sun’s out). Full Alpinestars, Black visor etc. Looked like couldn’t ride for toffee…

Road conditions still a bit sketchy around my way. Really grimy and slimy. Fine for a bimble but too iffy to have any fun on IMO.

Personally, I'll be giving it a couple of weeks yet. And I doubt I'll be power rangering, my leathers appear to have shrunk. So I'll need to shed some pies to get back into them!

Does it matter if he’s enjoying himself?

Sounds like ideal kit for the conditions. I know my riding always needs work in spring.

I did a 75 mile round trip earlier, taking in Beachy Head & the Culfail Tunnel in Lewes - I childishly love the noise from dropping a cog & revving the engine in the tunnel....
Lots of bikes around from pretty much all market segments.
Weather was fantastic - my winter kit was almost too warm! Roads almost all dry,but still quite a bit of salt out there.

Good on him, the GS army have had their window of fun whilst the roads are crap. Time for the proper bikes now spring is round the corner.

At least give an interesting anecdote to back up the piss taking.

Someone riding (I assume slowly) around on a sport bike isn't unusual.

Fair point. I am not a good rider yet so probably look a bit silly in all the gear but I am on a low powered bike.

Look at the title, it’s a bit like the One swallow doesn't make a summer idiom. Just signals the beginning of spring, since you don’t see them hibernating over winter. Not sure why everyone so sensitive

Cos most of us here are still eagerly awaiting the conditions to improve enough to get the bikes out! It’s that frustrating time of year for me, blue skies, warm conditions but roads are still covered in crap frown I’ve been on the enduro bike all winter but itching to get the road bike out now!

Good for you smile

Coming off even on a low powered bike can result in dire consequences if your one of the idiots wearing shorts & t-shirt on any motorbike

Don’t take it personally, just some bikers sticking up for the bloke in all the gear and no idea.

Perfect riding gear for this time of the year.
It will be another couple of months before we can get the shorts and t-shirt out for warm days riding.
