As the title suggests, post two wheeled oddities and rarities, that still hold serious attraction for reasons unknown. Bike that have that certain something that cannot be quantified. Bikes that if funds were available, you'd buy, just because. (if it's an advert, please post a link. Someone might be looking for that exact bike)

I'll begin.

Call me odd but I have always fancied one of these:

I don't know if its the lovely 80s styling or the thought of that fairly characterful V-twin. I don't know why but I'd like to own one at some point.

A bike definitely on my hit list. Or an FZX.

Largely impractical in the modern world, no real need for one, but had wanted one for ages.

Motorbike, sidecar/boat and accommodation - it's a ready made family holiday. (I'm sure your partner of choice will be delighted).

I'd settle for standard Gear-up 2 wheel drive Ural - ideally with machine gun mount.

If folks can find the bike they are lusting after for sale, could you please post a link? It will give the curious an indication of price.
I'm trying to get a thread started akin to the Bargain barge thread, but for bikes.

I've always fancied middleweights, would love a Honda vf500 or Yamaha xz550. Maybe even a Yamaha szr660

I always thought the SZR was a bit of an odd looking thing. Nice idea, though. Big single in a frame with dimensions more akin to a 125. (Anyone remember Simoto?)

I very nearly bought one of those as my first "big" bike but there was something wrong with it and I didn't want to take a chance.

I have long wanted on of these (amongst many others!) having ridden someone else's about 35 years ago, and have a constant eBay search running, although I cannot fit another bike in currently:

Back in the days of 33bhp restrictions, I rather fancied one of these. Couldn't find one, even at grey importers. A nice idea then and one whose time has come round again.

Suzuki TL1000S, has to be the original S and not the R. Ideally in red.
I’ve always liked them but never done anything about it.

I’d also like to add a Honda Blackbird, I rode a mates one just after I passed my direct access. It scared the hell out of me, then rode the same bike a few years later and understood why he’d kept it so long!
Again I’ve no idea why I haven’t had one.
