Keeping the Gen1 and Gen3 Hayabusas. Must be getting old so been looking for something a little more staid but, but of course has to be interesting. Just commuting work and a bit of fun more than anything else.

Been draw to the Rocket 3 which (to me) looks amazing. Not even ridden one yet. Anything I need to be aware of or not like?

Me too. They're on my watch list permanently.

If the TVR goes, I'll get one.

Never ridden one either but I've always liked big engined, big torque bikes and the Rocket is the ultimate expression of that.

I love them but have never ridden one.

Worth having even if only for a little while. You can always sell it.

I want one of these and I don't even have a full licence yet! The GT model though, rather than the R.

I occasionally use to follow someone who commuted on an early Rocket 3 through SE London. They are big buggers, that's for sure. Huge length and wide bars being the main issues, from watching him squeeze through dense traffic in Lewisham. They're also very heavy, though I imagine the weight is low down since the whole bike is pretty low.

What a queer post. Talk me out of getting one?

Don’t get one. End thread.

Haha, thanks for sharing my video! If you even remotely think you want one, go and get a test ride. There's a 99% chance you'll love it. They're really fun bikes to ride, and you can hustle them through corners with plenty of confidence. From memory (and I'm probably about to contradict my own video), the ride is better than on a Diavel, so the bumps don't go straight up your spine.

Or a tube eyed fish.

Saying that, I'd be all over on like a tramp on chips if I had the space for a bike like that.

I was lent one for a day while my bike was in for a service. Absolutely not my thing, loved it. A complete hoot, stupid torque but very easy and relaxing.
Oh yeh, don’t buy one biggrin

I thought about one, and a Diavel, but the got a Guzzi California custom. That was amazing and a bit easier to manage for me (my chest is obvs not as hairy as yours)

But I would recommend trying one of you can find one
