Talk me out of a new Rocket 3
Discussion
Keeping the Gen1 and Gen3 Hayabusas. Must be getting old so been looking for something a little more staid but, but of course has to be interesting. Just commuting work and a bit of fun more than anything else.
Been draw to the Rocket 3 which (to me) looks amazing. Not even ridden one yet. Anything I need to be aware of or not like?

This thread may be of interest, though it may talk you into buying one:

I occasionally use to follow someone who commuted on an early Rocket 3 through SE London. They are big buggers, that's for sure. Huge length and wide bars being the main issues, from watching him squeeze through dense traffic in Lewisham. They're also very heavy, though I imagine the weight is low down since the whole bike is pretty low.

This may help (or not!):
Haha, thanks for sharing my video! If you even remotely think you want one, go and get a test ride. There's a 99% chance you'll love it. They're really fun bikes to ride, and you can hustle them through corners with plenty of confidence. From memory (and I'm probably about to contradict my own video), the ride is better than on a Diavel, so the bumps don't go straight up your spine.
