i need a new neotec 2 visor and there appear to be none in clear - others in various tints but i don't need a tint
one site is quoting 12 weeks
the site where is usually get one from doesn't work
others, no stock, even shoei direct has none

is this still the effects of the pandemic on supply chains?

Try Aliexpress

https://www.aliexpress.com/w/wholesale-neotec-2-vi...

I bought some NXR 2 visors and they appear identical to the one the lid was supplied with. Fit and work very well.

I wouldn’t fancy getting hit with a stone with one of them on my helmet.

Well they do have the "this visor is not warranted as shatterproof" on them ... exactly the same as the OEM ones do smile

Never bought from these guys, but showing in stock. Could be worth giving them a call...

I don't know about Neotec visors in particular but I've always bought genuine visors from genuine Shoei stockists. You can fix arms and legs, and skin will heal, all painfull but generally fixable to some degree, but once you've had a rock or a branch gouge your eyeball, that's it, glass eye. Given the cost of the bike and kit, it's not a lot to spend on a genuine visor.

Here endeth the lesson for today smile

Yup. Genuine visors only for me too. Not a risk worth taking.

Also, Photochromic visors are absolutely awesome. Pricey AF but just brilliant bits of kit.

Apologies, I’d ordered one for my GT2 the other week, hadn’t realised the neotec and neotec 2 had different fittings. Odd as the GT air, Gt air 2 and old neotec are all the same thumbup
Chrome burner claim to have them in stock
