Guys as a present for a friend do you know where i could find a circuit experience day, he had full licence but would need to include leathers, bike hire, possibly helmet etc for the day.
I know there are such things for cars like red letter days but I am unaware for bikes

Thanks

Could he not borrow all of the gear and then maybe do a CSS day and hire one of their bikes? Or he could do a trackday, hire a bike and ask for instruction on the day or spend money on Mike Edwards/Dean Ellison 1-2-1 etc?

There's a company called Smallboy that does bike hire at a lot of UK trackdays. However, I've never come across a leathers and helmet hire outfit.

As far as I know, there's no all in one "Experience Day" that includes track time, bike hire, and equipment.

Smallboy (Matt) is a mate of mine, used to ride with him MANY years ago, he hires bikes through No-Limits FYI.

The Ron Haslam days were the only ones where you could rock up with nothing and they'd kit you out entirely, as far as I'm aware.

As has been mentioned, there's Smallboy for bike hire and I also noticed a Yamaha affiliated experience/tuition thing at a few UK track days last year but I'm not sure if they provided kit as well as the bike.

Yamaha Track Experience is a great Day. Bikes are mint and everything can be included Leathers helmets the lot. They do all the best circuits as well.

I am not sure if it would be a palatable alternative, but if it has to be biking related but doesn't have to be road bike based then an off-road day would be easier to arrange to include all the gear.

yes Done the Ron Haslam one a couple of times. Was a good day out and everything provided. It's a few years since the last time, but I remember you had to do at least one day on the 600s before they let you take the 1000.

Pretty sure that when I booked a Silverstone track day there was the possibility to rent leathers from the circuit.
So could do that plus rent a bike from a one of the rental co’s. Can’t remember if Silverstone also rent bikes directly.
Just google for track bike rental.

Was a great school. Such a shame Honda pulled the plug on leasing the bikes to them.

Silverstone do Masterclass days, where you can hire a Ducati and full leathers etc as part of the package
Get instruction for the day too, and it's run by Niall McKenzie
