KTM RC390 2022 any owners?

Hi All,

I'm looking at purchasing the new KTM RC390, I had an RC390R from the first generation that I probably shouldn't have sold but knew then the new version was on its way and assumed it would move things on. I've moved on to bigger bikes since but now thinking I want to come back from scary to fun again!

Does anyone have one that can share their initial view on ownership? Or if not has anyone test ridden one and has any views? I've read the media stuff which is pretty positive but of course doesn't count for a lot in terms of actual ownership.

Looking to step up from my 125 in a few months and this bike is top of my list. Particularly want to hear how tolerable it is on a weekend away with a few long distance rides.

The looks are amazing and I'm okay to sacrafice a bit of comfort over the rivals for that. However I don't want a bike thats completely unsuited to light touring which I've read the previous one was.

Slightly different bike but. Have you looked at the Chaos Causes YouTube channel? He had a 390 Duke for a period of time and posts some informative and unbiased videos on his channel. I’d imagine that his videos on that bike will be somewhat relatable?

I didn't know these had the IMU enabled cornering ABS.

Yep some good tech going on for what it is, overkill really but some of it looks good, supermoto abs setting, quickshifter up and down option. And there was a brand new 2022 one (not pre reg or ex demo) for 4699 up until the other day.
