On race day either get a seat at the start-finish line facing the pits or a seat by the Amici restaurant on the corner of Portrush and Station Rd. Both these stands also face large screens. On the other days, I would park in Portstewart on the Prom and walk along the coast path to Portrush. That way you'll see everything.

And bring waterproofs, and thermals.

It's like the TT course where everyone has their favourite spot.

We found that unless you went to a grandstand or paying location, you can move around a bi t- hedge hopping. Braking point for University was spectacular but walk across the field and you can see them accelerating up the link road.

As we were staying on the approach to Metropole, we watched a wet evening there - with beer & pizza!

Get there, have a good look around and enjoy wherever you watch, and wander around the pits in the evenings.
