Ducati Supersport 950, 22 reg, about 7 months old and only done 350 miles, bought from Youles Triumph in Blackburn and traded my 18 reg Monster 821 which I had had for 3 years. Paid £10,700 which seemed reasonable, have bought my last couple of bikes in November which seems to work well pricewise and also from dealers not franchised to the brand.

Had it a couple of weeks now and only managed to get out on it once, feels like a nice step from the Monster, more of a sporty riding position but not as full on as the Panigale bikes, pulls well although restricted to 6k revs till 620 mile service. Latest model Supersport so few nice updates including full colour Panigale style dash, quickshifter and slightly modified fairing.

Looking forward to some decent weather....!

That's lovely, sweetspot of the range I think, plenty quick enough for the road & not £20k!

Lovely bikes. Perfect power for me for the road (despite owning R1’s, GSX-R1000’s, FireBlades etc) like a modern day Honda Firestorm.

I’ve test ridden a few different demos of the earlier 939 model. Very nice, a bit choppy at 30mph maybe but all had utterly rubbish vibey mirrors. Standard exhaust is great - don’t ruin it with loud aftermarket one.

I quite like the latest 950 model where the fairing lowers actually fit much nicer but why-oh-why did they not put cruise control on it.?

Agree that the mirrors are not great - although I recently discovered via the manual that you just move the glass, not the whole mirror head (which I was trying to do) and this has improved things.....!

Very nice indeed - enjoy!

PS - Definitely one I'll be looking at when I come to change my Monster 821.

What's the deal with 350 miles? Did the original owner misjudge what they wanted?

Lots of Ducatis do less than 500 miles a year.

I like these a lot. They certainly do tick lots of boxes for me. The styling on the 950 is great, a step up from the 939. I’m not far from Ducati Manchester & called in a few times earlier this year to look at the various Supersport S’s that they had in stock over the spring , none were quite right. Took myself to Superbike Factory at Macc to look at one there, saved a few bob & bought a BMW R9T Racer which is a much different proposition, happy with the BMW but I’m sure I’d be just as chuffed to have a SS 950 in the garage.
