In contrast the other one, let's see those rare, sunny day garage queens...

My S2r 800 (I may have commuted to work on it twice in 6 years so does that make it an every day bike?)

The Mito and 853cc 748

The latest purchase, a BB1

(Apologies for the rubbish pictures, I have used some before but I will get better ones !)

Even after all these years the 748 / 916 still makes me go weak at the knees. I just wish could actually fit on one. Perhaps I should still get one so I can go into the garage and lick it yum

Here's mine in an appropriate setting. Sadly, it's an old photo and it hasn't been near a track for years. Next year, definitely next year.

Here’s my old girl. I’ll have had 10 years next March. I very rarely see another one.

My mates got a 996s and I’ve ridden it occasionally over the years.
I don’t really fit and can do about 40 mins before really I need to get off and stretch, but I’d happily have one. It’s just a lovely thing, totally outclassed by modern machinery but still an event to ride.
Plus it looks fking amazing.

Forgot to post pictures of my own garage queen, bought as a written off Ducati ST2 and modified into this.
I never knew 80bhp could be so much fun.

Not exactly a commuter (I sort of "retired" about twenty years ago... or, rather, just stopped having a proper job, so I've no need to go out everyday!), but 'tis my "daily" since I sold my '96 Sportster. Not needing to be used for work does mean it gets used less than it would have and does tend to be a little more cossetted than previous bikes - and I have a 900 Legend for nasty/winter use. Sadly, fits this thread at the moment as (post op') not allowed to ride for a month... hence posting pic's on the net when I could be out!

Morini 500/6 Sport that I bought for my other half, looked gorgeous, handled and stopped extremely well, sounded horrible and both of us disliked the engine characteristics - hence it rarely coming out. She now rides a T140ES.

It’s not old-old but it certainly doesn’t have any real tech or rider aids!
Had it for 7 years and other things come and go alongside it but I really can’t see it going anywhere, good amount of power, nice handling, sounds great I can’t really see why I’d replace it!

Long been a fan of the Griso, maybe one day I'll get one but, for now here are my old Italians;

Not sure exactly which model that is, but what a gorgeous looking bike. Sadly, the only Ducatis I've had any experience of (Pantahs, a 500 and an ex-works 600) were the most disappointing bikes I've ridden. Might get around to trying a more modern example one day, a 900 Monster of some sort does appeal.

916 but with newer forks and wheels, as for the appeal of a 900 Monster I'm riding mine more than the other 2 combined, just seems more enjoyable to ride, plenty quick enough, less focussed etc. - probably because I'm getting old... grumpy
