Portable battery pack
Discussion
I've got heated gerbing gloves (12v) and want to be able to wear them on my old (6v) bike. Any recommendations on portable battery packs/power bank? Don't want to pay gerbing prices and not have any USB charging ability for the phone etc
Could i even just use a normal 12v bike battery in a pannier?

Not used one but isn't some kinda LIon battery bank the answer? Quick search found this:

Bosch offers heated clothing that is powered by standard tool batteries. The adapter for the clothing is available separately, and allows for 12V/1.2A; 5V/2.1A

This might also come in handy to purchase a new 12V power tool to get hold of two batteries and a charger, as these bundles are sometimes cheaper than just two batteries and charger

Had a look and I believe the draw from the gloves are 2.2amps - not sure how that compares to some of the above?
I'm not an electrician but I presume that means at full draw a 2.2AH battery will last 1 hourSo if you ride for 4 hours you need a 8.8ah battery etc (please check)
I think I'd pay a bit more for a lightweight lithium that I could keep in a pocket rather than be tethered to the bike with wires
Personally I'd use it as an excuse to buy a new power tool with suitable batteries
IIRC Aldi or Lidl sell some cheap lithium batteries and chargers for their tools
