Anyone got the LS2 FF805 Thunder carbon.
Wondering what your views are on them. Seem a lot of helmet for the money as currently on offer in some places for around £300, they are ACU gold, and one version is FIM approved, comes with a clear and dark visor plus decent carry bag and a few other bits, LS2 is a Chinese company which would normally put me off but they seem to be state of the art with HQ's in the EU and US. Quite tempted to give a go...

Had Both the ACU and FIM Ls2 helmets. Great helmets. Good quality. Very comfy and the Visor aperture is very tall so visibility is great.
And from experience They crash well :-)
Thanks mate, good to know they crash well seen a few reviews of the older and cheaper Ls2 lids that said the quality was not great, I guess the top end models are far betterAnd from experience They crash well :-)
I've got one after running 2 x shark speed r thought I'd try I've having read reviews etc
Went with the below. Called something like challenger GT carbon
I wouldn't get another. On paper the spec is great and the race kids are worn by top racers
But for me the drop down visor switch let way too much wind up there and was deafening above about 80mph. I fixed it with a helmet wind jammer and then trimmed it just enough to use the slide for the drop down switch still
The integrated Sena com on the chin dug into my jaw. Ended up taking that off and retro fitting my old smh10r on the outside so the chin strap was thinner
As said the spec is like a Chinese iPhone... It reads great but for me at least reality was not so. I bought another top spec touring shark with drop down which is night and day better
I still use my ls2 but mainly for commuting and kick about when riding on my own. Wouldn't recommend

Thanks that is my concern, the one Im looking at is a good spec on paper as its there top of range lid and ACU Gold. I have seen it in the flesh and looked/felt very good quality but its Chinese at the end of the day so it could just be a polished turd....Went with the below. No experience of the LS range but thought I'd mention that the Carbon Scorpion 1400's, that some have mentioned, do have a habit (IME) of the internal visor deciding to depart from the lever that lifts it up/down. Other than that they are a nice light lid but a bit delicate compared to my previous Scorpion models. Also found that from new they are a bit of a tight fit but do end up been a nice fit for my bonce.
