BSB Brands Hatch - First time
Discussion
So I’m off to Brands on Sunday with my 4 year old to watch the British Super Bikes. This will be my first time at any bike racing and I have to confess, this is my first time venturing into this part of the forum, but my boy has been keen to watch bike racing for a while.
I know Brands well, but would love for some bike specific tips. Has anyone got any tips for the day, such as good places to spectate from? I assume Paddock Hill Bend is impressive as always? Also, what is paddock access like?
Thanks in advance.

Does your boy know any of the riders faces and names?
Take the time out to do the pit lane walk on race day and get some posters and signatures from his favourite riders.
You’re also free to walk around the back of the pits and paddock, I’m sure a 4 year old will love seeing the big race trucks parked up and the hustle and bustle of activity that goes on behind there.
I’m tend not to bother with going to any of the brands rounds due to me living up north, but I’ll be there next weekend too, it sure how long I’ll be able to stay for though.

Thanks everyone for the advice. I’ll be sure to get over to the inside of druids at some point. My boy doesn’t know any of the riders, he just loves vehicles of all sorts, especially if they’re racing (I had my first trip to the truck racing earlier this year, which was another good day out that he loved). I just need to remember to pack his ear defenders, because the noise is the one thing he really doesn’t like.
