Lucky you! cool

It's been half a lifetime since I competed.

I'm old (and fat), but I still wobble around on a 22 year old zx900r, and I would bloody love a few laps of that track.

Oh we weren’t racing, just a track weekend and even if they extended the qualifying times to +20% they still wouldn’t let me on the back of the grid hehe

There aren't any slow riders at that level!

Sometimes they might look like it, relatively, but you wouldn't want to be a pillion. eek

Let's be fair with the power advantage he has how Bautista has not already won it by now is a joke the guy has 10 mph on every straight worth a damn. I know that is not the be all and end all but it is not a hindrance is it!

Is that his fault though ?

If your going to penalize a team for developing there engine better than the others we might as well just have every team on stock bikes.

The bike is a rocket ship - no fault of AB, though.

When you see it in the flesh, it looks like - in 2 stroke terms - a tz350 passing a tz250.

It literally is mirror, signal, manouver!

BTW, did anybody see what happened to the 300 rider who fell coming out of the last right-hander to the main straight?
I looked up and he was on his hands and knees, looking distinctly 2nd hand, causing FP2 to be stopped.

Surely Yamaha and Kawasaki have just been lazy at development though ?

If you penalize Ducati for actually investing in there bike what incentive is there for any company to invest?

May as well make super stock the wsbk and just race a " show room " bike

It's not the bike entirely though is it. It's because Bautista is so small and light. Plus he has the technique to exploit the advantage.

Would be fairer to have a 'stock' weight for all the riders.

Victor Steeman was airlifted to hospital with polytrauma and head injuries. Only 22. Poor lad.
