As per title really. I've got my bike booked in for later in the week but wondering if anyone has used them before? Reviews on Trust Pilot seem good but aware that they can be fake reviews on there.

If you haven't heard of them, they provide a ACF50 or XCP protection. Costs are £70 for ACF50 or £85 for XCP. I'm likely to go with XCP but will be talking to them about it on the day about what is best for me.

My mate was telling me about this. He had his bike done a few years back just after he got it & was thinking of having it done again.
He praised it up & earlier this week sent me a link to their website.
It would be interesting to hear your thoughts once you’ve had it done.

I had my commuter RT done by them a good few years back, seemed to be a decent job and wasn't outrageously expensive (£70 springs to mind?). Bike looked brand new when he finished.

I have used them over a number of years and I'm very happy with the work.

I've heard a few people say that. Apparently ACF50 looks better than the other one (XCP?) but that lasts longer.

I'll be sure to update once its done smile.

Until this year, I used ACF50. While it worked well, ACF50 left a sticky residue (albeit, I could wash it off in the spring).

This year, I’ve applied XCP. It looks better than ACF50. Also, the XCP didn’t leave a sticky residue on my bike. It’s yet to go through the winter, but I prefer XCP so far.

I haven’t watched it, but you can see a YouTube comparison of the two: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=uZF6lQ5OqXY&feat...

I've used them too and cannot fault them. Always had a better experience with ACF on mine though; seems to preserve the chrome a little better than XCP.
Now that I'm probably having to get a new bike after the accident I'm considering getting whatever I buy cereamic coated as that apparently does a better job than either of the above, albeit at something like £400 to last 3-4 years.

I bought a new GS this year and had it ceramic coated, and when you wash it the muck just falls off it. Definitely seems like a good option, I can't comment yet on how well it lasts.

I think I remember from the commuting thread that you're in Kent? I had my bike done by a guy who lives in Bromley, but he's mobile. My bike was new and he did it in the dealer's showroom before the bike ever saw the road. He also details it and does any necessary paint correction (all a bit above me!) before he coats it. Takes a very full day, he started mine at about 8.30am and didn't finish til early evening.

They do offer different costs and levels of guarantee depending on whether the bike is new or used.

As an aside, did you go to Joel in Sellindge for the AYB?

CAPP0 - Still waiting to hear from the insurance if its definitely written off but if so I'll be buying used but from a dealership with an eye to have it ceramic coated fairly soon after - may need to grab that Bromley chap's details off of you once I know whats happening!

I am indeed down in Kent (Canterbury area) but I've not been to Joel yet, although was planning to for this coming winter - last time I had it done by a mobile chap (Matt?) who was holding a day in London - left it with him whilst I went to work and picked it up early afternoon. Prior to that I had it done by John in Chesham, Bucks as I used to live 5 minutes down the road from him. Both that mobile chap in London and John did a great job on the ACF50 and it lasted all winter with all the gunk washing off with no issues come spring.

Just got back. Very impressed! Used Adam in Southampton. He does do home visits but locally. He did say if there is a group of bikes he could go further.

Went for the more expensive treatment (forgotten the name!). Will keep the thread updated with how it goes.
