Sawasdee kahp! Marquez fastest in free practice on friday, down a bit in free practice on Saturday. Jorge Martin is up there in Saturday GP, Bagnaia somewhere in the middle. Will Miller continue his form from Motegi? Will Petrux do a Bayliss with his wildcard entry?

A few of them, one being Marc, got borked on a fast one in FP2.. he seems a bit down in fp3 but maybe just be trying stuff. I think Marc is still very much bang on the pace and will get through Q2. Amazing and great to see how this final operation has really done the business this time.

Miller consistently up there too, don't know if they found something on the bike that is helping him or it's just the weight lifted of having his future ride sorted, but he's seemed like a new man recently.

I worry for Aleix, he seemed to be struggling, as did Mav.

Wow that’s some boost for Mooney. Quietly doing the business to be fair.

I thought Aleix was amazing, his bike not so much. Marc left time out there, second row looked possible. Jack left time out there, pole looked possible for him, although Martin and Bezzechi were both on it. Fabio grinding out the maximum again, and Cal reminding us just how fast he's always been, even thought that wasn't quite enough to get into Q2.

I thought Brad had second row potential, not sure what went wrong but look forward to see him coming forwards in the race.

Thing with marquez's qualy position is you just know by the exit of turn one he'll be right up the front end .

Miller has apparently changed his approach since analysed his performance on the flight over from Aragon to Motegi. He realised the other riders were focusing on corner entry rather than a good exit, and now he is doing the same. It's that and bike setting that's made the difference.

I like that he's doing a Lorenzo on his way out the factory team.

Marc was still looking like P1 was possible his last lap was fast before he got it way out of shape. He's was massively on the limit, that's exactly what honda need to try and make steps forward. Just can't help but worry that he's gonna send himself to space again and never come back from it.

Impressed with Cal as always, he is invaluable for Yamaha, despite what that prick Lorenzo thought at the time it was announced.

Yeah I reckon he'll get caught up in the pack and will barge through into turns one and two.

Amazing qualifying run by Bezecchi. Equally great effort by the local guy in Moto2.

Regarding Miller, I was thinking the same about the similarities with Lorenzo and how the switch got flicked but just a bit late. If I remember Lorenzo come good after setting his seating position back a couple of inches, amongst probably some other things?

Heavy rain, Moto2 red flagged, MotoGP start delayed, it was supposed to be 9am.

Pit lane open in 5 minutes for 10 minutes, then hopefully a 9.55 race start.

That was an interesting race. Two points between Quatararo and Bagnaia. Bagnaia is getting a bit of help from some of the Ducati riders - pep talk from Miller, buffer from Zarco.

Haven’t seen it yet, interesting result. Pecco looking good now for sure.
Martini’s first DNF at this level.

Love a bit of Miguel, people forget how damned good he is, he has now won 4 races on a KTM, that is pretty astonishing

Surprised how close 2 & GP championships are, I suppose Bagnaia has been helped by Yamaha not being as competitive as other bikes. Nice to see Marc back and glad Arbolino got the win, deserved it.

Yeah, who would've predicted such a struggle for Yamaha with that bike??... Oh that's right... Fabio

I hope their 2023 bike, or more specifically their engine, is as good as they're making out. I feel sorry for the lad, he's pissing in the wind on inferior machinery, I dare say the aprilia is a better bike than the yam.
