Due to poor circulation problems (no chance of me ever getting it sorted via the NHS) I'm already starting to struggle with the cold. I have Gerbing heated gloves and am looking at their heated socks now (feet and hands are where I struggle most). When I did the Dragon Rally I used a sliced up emergency mylar blanket which REALLY helped. Are there any brands out there that have this or similar material built into them? I don't have the charging capactity on two of my 3 bikes to add in a jacket/bodywarmer as well.

If you can get the material you could probably get a dressmaker or tailor to copy the internal waterproof liner of a jacket and attach it to the liner. I've never heard of that material mentioned in bike clothing.

While I’m unfamiliar with Mylar, I highly recommend merino wool base- and mid-layers, e.g. Halvarssons’ superb Warm Wool Polo.

Also, Halvarssons has some base layers combining merino and Outlast. I’ve found this combination ideal, e.g Halvarssons Comfort Long Johns.

Chuck McGill?

As mentioned above, merino wool base layers are very good at keeping you warm.

I also received some random ski thermal base layers from TKMaxx I think it was, and they have been great. I believe the brand was HEAT with the wording arranged in a simple square logo.
