It will be interesting to see how he goes. Has he changed Helmet Brands. I always thought he was an Arai man.

Lots of "returning" riders this weekend, some doing rather better than others! Cal was awesome, race pace quite capable of getting points and not that dissimilar from MM93's.

Usual suspects, but Rins is looking punchy.

So where is Marc Marquez going to end up tomorrow? Currently top in Q1 after the first runs. P3 at the end of Q1 and 13th on the grid.

Looks like Pol has robbed him of a podium battle unless he has a lightning start, but top six looks very possible.

Cal qualified ahead of Morbidelli.

Vinales looks to be going through a bit of a rough patch this weekend. Bike played up today (fairing came loose?) and he had his first crash of this season. Qualified a fair way back in the field. Bit of a come-down from the previous few rounds!

I haven't watched any of the sessions, but it's mad Maverick hadn't crashed once this season until now. He said in an interview at the last round he feels he has loads more speed to find in the bike, as he hasn't found the limit yet. Guess he did today! Still great to see his progress.

Both Aprilias were crashing, front end problems and also stopping problems at turn 1. Could just be Aragon specific.

It was a shame that the yellow flags stopped MM from showing what was possible. I still think it is going to be a good race as MM is looking racy and he has nothing to prove except get stuck in and use the race as a test to get upto speed. He has no skin in the game this year so can just ride for results.

On another note , what was going on with the Moto3 qualifying ? I`ve see a tweet and short video about some mechanics from another team stopping a rider from exiting the pits, looks like they hit his kill switch ???

Yep, Max and Sterilgarda have officially apologised, so I guess those guys are sacked. Crazy thing to do.

Its nuts ..... They must know there are cameras everywhere. Someone must have told them to do it....... dirty tactics. I wouldnt be surprised if penalties are awarded if it has come to the attention of the race stewards.

It seems they dabbed his front brake a tad. Apparently there is data to back that up.

Is this to do with a rider chasing for a tow, that does not shock me that much actually, if I was running a team and had spent all weekend seeing the same rider looking for a tow off my rider I would probably come up with something like this, it is incredibly frustrating. Was it Oncu by any chance?

For sure the wrong thing to do.

but Moto3 is full of idiots, yet how often, in fact nearly al the time, even on tracks where a two is needed or necessary do you see the guy doing all the work on his own hardly lose anything,

Must have been to stop him following their rider to get a tow.

That's horrendous, Yamaha management are apparently quite loyal to their riders (bar Spies), but I do wonder how long they will tolerate this situation. If it doesn't improve in 2023, with the new bike...
