Hi all,

Any recent recommendations for suspension setup in the Hampshire/Surrey/Berkshire area? Latest posts I can find on it are from around 2012, so wondering if anywhere else in the area has popped up in the meantime other than Steve Jordan in Great Bookham, and HM Racing in Edenbridge, or if these are still the go-to recommendations.

This would be to set up a 2017 Triumph Speed Triple R for road riding - I've had a go myself, set the sag and tried the different damping settings in the Triumph handbook plus a few other tweaks, but the front end especially still feels to me like it is too firm and at times a bit chattery over bumps.

I read a post on another forum from someone else riding the same bike saying that, out of the factory, the forks are under-sprung and over-damped, which would kind of make sense given I thought it was too firm already yet had to wind on a load of preload to get the sag right. Presumably a suspension expert would be able to identify and rectify this if it is the case...?

Ta muchly.

PDQ Motorcycle Developments are another option.

Only so much you can do with the settings of course. You might need different weight springs or different fork oil.

Thanks both. I have booked in with Steve Jordan so will see what he has to say and do about it. Will report back here after.

If there are any other recommendations in the meantime, please let me know.

Cheers.
