Import Charges
Discussion
I'm after some parts for an old CZ which can only be found in Europe. Does the £135 limit for no import charges include the postage costs as well or are these not in the remit?
I.e. the parts alone are € 145.00 which is under the limit but the postage costs are around € 34.
I've ordered before without issue but am not sure here?

I don't think it's a £135 limit for no import charges.
Under £135 the vendor must collect VAT and duty at point of sale. If you buy through an online platform like Amazon or eBay, then the platform must collect what is due to HMRC.
Over £135 VAT and duty are charged when the goods arrive in the UK.
