Trying to find an old suzuki gsx750f

Hi everyone. This is a huge long shot...
My partner is coming up to the big 4-0 and is reminiscing about his old suzuki gsx750f which he rode round Oz in and then imported to the UK. He'd love to find the bike and see if he could buy it back.
But other than mot history and the fact it's now sorn, we have no other info. Can't even see mot garage name anymore which would at least tell us where in the country it is. The reg is n818 jbk. I know people ask this a lot about finding old cars and bikes. Is there any possible way of finding an owner, or just getting a company (or the dvla) to pass our details on for the owner to contact us? I am not sure the dvla will see this constitutes reasonable cause...
