Need a scenic 2 day Pilsen (CZ) to Calais route in Germany
Discussion
Need to bike from Pilsen (in Czech Republic near the German border) to Calais over two days. I'm ok with long rides and a direct motorway trip would be about 1000km/10 hours, which is easily ok for me to do in 1 day. So since I have two days, I can take a scenic route.
Have looked at German road trip routes, but most of these are north-south routes or circle routes, so not really suitable for travelling east to west.
Any idea of a good east to west route from Czech Republic to Calais?
Preferably some great roads where the road is the entertainment, rather than boring roads with lots of stops at tourist attractions.

As a caveat to that, make sure you pick routes that have been put in by British bikers. They will be interesting and have the potential for speed. https://www.bestbikingroads.com/motorcycle-roads/c...

I had a really terribly long and somewhat dull ride from Heidelberg to Luxembourg once as one of the routes I followed had been done by a German on a Harley. 50 kph through lots of villages - I'd have been better just battering up the Autobahn.
I know what you mean. One mans 3 stars is another mans 5 stars and the roads that suit one type of bike don't necessarily work well for a different type of bike. Also, an average road in an area may have 5 stars for no reason other than all the alternatives are totally crap.
I use bestbikingroads alongside Google maps. If there appears to be a better alternative then I may well choose that but there aren't many other ways to try and plan a route on good roads in areas you have no local knowledge of.
