CBR600F (1999) throttle tube?

Hi all,

Years ago I replaced my throttle tube on my 1999 CBR600F with an R6 one. This seemed a great idea at the time (no "re-grip" for WOT), but I now realise it's made it absolutely horrible for slow control.

Anyway, Honda (and Fowlers) want silly money, eBAY is just turning up rotten breaker parts, and I remember you can often buy them new for buttons if you know where to look...

Can anyone recommend where to purchase a throttle tube?

They are 21 quid from fowlers for the tube, I can't remember if your bike was and F3 or F4 but part no 53141ML7000 is for the F3 at £21 and 53140MY9890 for the F4 at €27 from CMS

£39.70 at Fowlers before any postage mate. £37.63 delivered from CMS.

£34..20 from David Silver before postage (shared with a Silverwing apparently).

Seems a lot for a piece of plastic but I guess if that's what they cost...
