Bike still stood up alongside the barrier right in line where Brookes just crashed, why haven't they pulled it back and out of the way?

Seems at the moment that at some tracks a bike works, at others it is hopeless, apart from the Yamaha.

No idea how OMG are there, this must be an odd situation!!

I've just got back home from Brands - first ever experience of BSB and suffice to say it was a superb day! Had a seat half way up the far left Paddock Hill grandstand, so looking right into the corner and with great views over other parts of the circuit too - we watched both the BSB races from there, and wandered round for the other races, finding some nice spots both around the Indy and through the woods into the GP Circuit.

Watching the superstocks come flying down Clearways into Clark Curve was a particular highlight, as was the super-close finish to the last BSB race. Mackenzie and O'Halloran looked a cut above, although Irwin was great in the final race. Haslam was going well too. Atmosphere was excellent, and glad there was plenty of shade in the wooded bits - it was hot!

I don’t think anyone knows what’s gone wrong and therefore how to fix it.

I’ve never really been a pbm fan but the current demise isn’t good for the series as Paul Bird has brought a lot to it over the years and this is another reason he may drop out.

thing is the shakey/dixon era they were dominant , redding came in and they just walked it the year after it was like a brand new team with new riders on a different make of bike .

Fantastic day out, took my father in law and one of my mates, was in the No Limits box for a large part of the day and then spent some time with the McCams team and watched the last race in their garage with the riders families, was excellent, then back to the box to watch my mate Bob take 6th in the Tri Options Cup, getting grid access was the icing on the cake.

For some reason, I’m not feeling the love for BSB this year. As someone who has been going to national motorcycle racing events since the 80’s as a child, there is now 1 key ingredient missing.

Fred Clarke.

I was at Brands GP at the beginning of this month and Bob Collins was out on the V2 that day before doing the Doni WSB round. He was going well and good to see still does his trademark "stoppie" when coming down pitlane smile

Yesterday it made me realise how quick the top two were, having seen Bob race over many years from the R6 cup up to the present day MRO etc.

I don't think Sykes was a very smart signing given Brookes poor form. Hard to think who is leading development and setup. I'm just an armchair expert though.

Would love to see them both in the mix at the front.

One thing I'd say as a relatively new comer is the programme is not really catered for novices for instance the signs they hold up nowhere in the programme does it say what this means..a difficult one as if at football I saw a page in the programme with rules I'd think it was odd but I've been to plenty of NFL games in the UK and this is something they'd do...!
