I came across this the other day and wondered what else motorcyclists have come across in other countries:

The worst I've seen in the UK was country pubs displaying "No Motorcycles" after the Police closed a local bike night (The Waterman) and didn't want another starting up

I did the B500 in 2018 and thought they were brilliant. Are they all restricted now?

Does that include mopeds? (rotate right)

Just to point out the no motorbikes (or related) sign is to the right as well and the moped has been down there.

This is just plain stupid. What is the reason for this ban?

Friday nights at the Ace used to get pretty crazy and when the police arrive the bikes would head down Rainsford and carry on. Not sure its that bad nowadays, I havent been to the Ace for a few years.

So rather than some sensible policing, the daft c**ts go for a ‘ban all’ approach. Scum.

I would be quite happy for Police Scotland to adopt and adapt the Nigerian policy for anyone riding a motorcycle in Edinburgh whilst wearing a balaclava and no helmet.

To be honest I’d rather see more police there, the way the bikes were being ridden its pretty obvious they were stolen.

Superficially tempting though such a policy might be in relation to cyclists and scooteristsshoot in London, I’m generally against encouraging the proliferation of small arms on the streetssmile.
