had an accident on my motorbike the other day

if im found to be at fault will i lose my no claims bous on my car insurance

ive checked the internet and i cant seem to get a straight answer

No, car is a separate policy so NCB remains - depending on the specifics of the question asked on the policy you may have to declare it, you may not...

Absolutely not, they are separate entities. Unless you have a multi-vehicle policy that covers bikes and cars together?

You should however, declare at renewal of the car insurance that you've had an accident / claim. You become a higher 'risk' unfortunately. frown

As others have said, no.

But expect to see a rise across all your motoring insurances when you declare being involved in an accident.
