'lo all,

No MM this year. Aprillia with new aero.

Ducati's not able to use their full power due to such a tight circuit. Though MIller & Bagnaia fastest in FP1.

Who are you favouring?

Bit of a lottery I think, maybe all down to tyre management too looking at the temps expected tomorrow and Sunday.

I went in 2018, blinding track, lovely area of the world and cheap beer!

Hard to look past him.

Mav for a tenner if your feeling brave.

Should suit the Yamaha's shouldn't it?

Speaking of Yamaha, why are the other riders getting such poor results?

Bit like Marquez, only he can get anything out of the Honda

Yeah, it's really weird. And to my untrained eyes they don't appear to be doing anything crazy on the bike to get so much more out of it.

Unlike Stoner who looked like he was going to crash that Ducati into every corner.

I guess to add...

Morbidelli - I suspect his leg/knee injury is still ongoing, if not I've got no idea
Binder - Rookie, and only the 2nd ever rookie to come straight from Moto3, he needs time to adjust
Dovi - Oldest guy on the grid, nearly a year out, years on a front end focused V4 Ducati and just cannot get the package to work.

Binder/Dovi also in the RNF team, satellite bikes, RNF off to Aprilia, so I doubt they'll be getting any further upgrades through the rest of the year.

The Moto GP race is live on ITV at 12.30 too. I don't know if it's the BT feed and commentary but the TV guide says the presenter is Orla Chennaoui.

Also be aware, Moto 2 and Moto 3 are also live on ITV4 from 9:30am before Moto GP on ITV1.

So it is. Cheers, that's my Sunday sorted. I'm too much of a skinflint for sky and whatnot.

Pecco looking really strong so far, fast on new softs, fast on worn race tyres. Aleix, Zarco, Fabio his strongest rivals. Fabio is going to need to qualify on the front row to get a shot at the podium. Jack has great pace, but is his tyre management up to a podium? Not convinced.

Except he seems to identify when a podiums not on the cards and brings it home collecting points rather than push to hard and crash

Blimey - is it that time of year already!? This was the last MotoGP we went to before covid (2019).

Fabulous trip, but I busted my achilles tendon falling from the grandstand on the way out; painful ride home, still not right yet.
