Since losing a few stone and becoming dead sexy I’ve developed a blue steel chiselled jawline and cheeks so my current NXR doesn’t fit any more and I battered my X-Spirit 3 death in a crash.

The obvious replacement is another Shoei, but the colour ways at the moment are absolutely gash and nothing really appeals. Which is a shame as the fit is absolutely perfect for me, and the quality of the helmets and liners is top drawer too.

I am also stuggling to get to a physical shop to try a few different ones at the moment so I will be ordering online.

So.
Has anyone experience of other helmets that are similar in fit to Shoei and of comparable size quality?

Purely because of the fit the following are off the table for me.
Arai
Bell
X-Lite
Nolan (I think??)

I've tried them all. None fit properly like a Shoei.

You may find different, as some seem to be able to wear other brands as well as Shoei.

I tried an HJC once. Was ok, but got a little irritated and went back to Shoei.

Currently happy with an X-Spirit 3 & NXR2. Both in boring plod white though.

I was previously a Shoei owner. I'm now wearing an AGV K6 and its lovely.

The lower end AGV stuff felt dreadful but this feel nice so I'd say worth a look.

i went from Shoei X Spirit 2 to Nexx XR.2 and have now had 2 of them as they are great. Very similar fit and weight, but larger view aperture

GT Air’s aren’t for me. My Mrs has one and it’s belting helmet, just not for me.

I’ve decided to just stay with what I know and get a plain black X-Spirit and I’ll take it along to EPF Graphics and have it wrapped at some point.

Should have also added that I had a Schuberth SR1 for a bit. Excellent ventilation and felt nice on my head, but the quality was some way below Shoei.

Get new, thicker cheek pads for your existing helmet?

Already done that and it’s still not quite right. I have to keep pushing the chin bar back up due to the helmet slowly dropping down.

Oh so it's rotating forwards on your head?
