Best place to buy replacement fairings?
Discussion
Any recommendations? Laid the bike down in right side, so I need a new tail, headlight, and body fairing. Plus a couple of smaller black pieces. I'd like it to look OEM. 2006 ZX6R (green).
I'm thinking of buying from here:

Any pitfalls with such places?

Thanks chaps. After starting the thread I decided I'll try to get the damage repaired, or replace with second hand. These replacement kits seem a bit of a mine field.
Mike at TripleC paintwork can repair and paint .... https://triplecpaintwork.co.uk/ he is on FB and IG, he painted both my Panigale track panel sets and only 30 mins from Reading ....Weso said:
It always makes me smile when people say they 'layed it down' instead of saying 'i crashed it'.
Anyway to echo others, look for used OE stuff rather than Chinese stuff as it's better quality.

It always makes me smile when people say this. I think you'll find 99% of OE stuff is Chinese manufacture rebranded. It pretty much is for Yamaha, and BMW at least.Anyway to echo others, look for used OE stuff rather than Chinese stuff as it's better quality.

In my experience the Chinese aftermarket fairings are in general poor quality compared to OE, both in the quality of paint finish and the durability of the actual panel itself. Aftermarket fairings in my experience soon become brittle and suffer from cracks and crazing around bolt holes and fixings much sooner than original kit.

I think with that experience I more inclined to believe you, than myself.
I suspect you are both rightOEM may well be made in China, even in the same factory as the knock offs but they may be OEM rejects or made to less exacting standards
The biggest problem with Chinese stuff is lack of quality control - which is why the OEMs will frequently install one of their staff in the factory to constantly monitor it

I can only go by my experience as a time served paint sprayer for 15 years.

Even if they were made from the same moulds in the same place, the process and materials are key to a good product, both easy to cut corners on!In my experience the Chinese aftermarket fairings are in general poor quality compared to OE, both in the quality of paint finish and the durability of the actual panel itself.
