5 years since the baron passed away.

Thought I’d share a short article I put together to commemorate the passing of Bren (The Baron) five years to this day.
Always have good memories of crazy times.

I stayed at Sliders without being a biker and knowing much about Brendan at all and we had a great few days there. The hospitality to everyone was amazing and I did a few laps around the ring with him, some him driving and some me with him coaching, both were unforgettable experiences. The missus had a memorable lap squashed between two bikers in the back of their Mk3 Golf that Brendan was piloting around, there was quite a lot of lean she said! :-)
One of life's memorable characters and it still saddens me to think of the nature of his passing. Cheers Brendan.

I didn’t realise Suze had passed away too. How tragically sad it all is.
I just wished I could have been able to stay at Sliders, but it was not to be.
RIP Bren
Sadly yes. Suz took her own life a number of years prior to Brens passing. My wife and I was with Bren when he got the news about Suz. Sad times indeed!I just wished I could have been able to stay at Sliders, but it was not to be.
RIP Bren
I wasn't aware of his fate and just googled his tragic demise. It seems as though the Big Man didn't want him to leave his spiritual home at the Nordschleife. So sad and also about his wife.
I stayed at Sliders 2 or 3 times from 2006-2009 with a bunch of people with same cars on a tour that took in the Ring .
Brendan was always laid back and welcoming .
Seeing that photo in the Comfy corner ,3 of those friends are pictured ,I was also there 1 or 2 days before he passed but I was just passing through and didn't stay the night .
R.I.P. dude .
