Ours comes with a bank (BS) account.

£13 a month - similar stuff from other banks no doubt. For regular travellers it's probably the cheapest option.

I know this doesn't really help but I have Euro cover on my LV/Britannia Rescue cover for the UK.

When I used to purchase single trip cover I just Googled European motorcycle breakdown cover and reviewed the options.

Carol Nash and Bennetts both do recovery deals if you're insured with them, but if you have an older bike check the small print as some don't cover bikes over 10 years old

i used green flag for a couple of days in europe recently, was £14.79. One of the big insurance comparison sites does breakdown cover comparisons.

It's all pretty standard really and no hassle. Having used it for years my only bit of advice would be it really is a case of you get what you pay for. The main difference seems to be time taken to get you recovered. The cost savings come from coverage I would imagine. So you may find yourself recovered but with waits of multiple hours with the cheaper ones. Also make sure you read the small print and your bike is in compliance with said small print. Due to an oversight I was once refused recovery for a puncture in Spain because my MOT had expired

This is what I did. A year of Green flag cover for UK+Euro, done via comparethemarket comparison, was about 1/2 price @£51
