Had the Gen1 Hayabusa for over 20 years and thought it was brilliant, but I can't believe just how much better the Gen3 is.

Not even scrubbed the tyres in properly, and the engine's not run in yet so haven't pushed it but I'm seriously impressed with the mid-range snort so far biggrin

Well done. There's nothing quite like new bike day. Ride safe and enjoy.

Congrats on the new bike, that would be my colour choice as well.. Have you kept the Gen 1 alongside?

Congrats! I must admit I wasn't enamoured with these when I first saw them, but after seeing them in the flesh they look great. I still have an 2018 ZZR1400 with 3,000 miles on it and value is still going up. I figure I'd sell it next year and consider a Busa as I'm not interested in Kawasaki's boosted 1 litre.

There's no substitute for CC's! biggrin

Only those who've not put a supercharged bike through its paces would say that. wink

My mates got an H2SX and I've ridden it loads. It's not the performance that puts me off its the price. At least for your £16k you get a FIL 1300 engine. For the Kawasaki they charge you the same for a naked 1 litre with a blower. Given that the SX1000 was £10k, £15k for the same engine with a blower seems like poor value. ZZR1400 was £14k three years ago.
