D30 Ghost protectors seem fashionable around these parts, and I reckon level 2 Ghost armour will be more popular than a karaoke party in Number 10. I thought some Biker Banters might like the ghostly news.

SAS-TEC level 2 Phantom armour may have prompted D30 to offer level 2 stuff. But the competition has given us more choice of shapeless armour that’s too floppy to stay in place laugh

Oxford are offering similar as well - also CE Level 2

Edit - Just seen the Oxford is probably rebranded SASTec

I need some armour for a riding shirt I’ve just bought, the d30 stuff in level 2 is ideal, shame I can’t see when it will be available.

Why not get the Oxford Dynamic (a.k.a. SAS-TEC Phantom) armour? I imagine it's no different from the D30 Ghost level 2. Unless you want it in orange smile

Its thin and flexible rather than knee or elbow shaped, previously only available in Level 1 spec

No preference in colour, but doesn’t look like they do a back protector in the Oxford ones

A bit OT but I'd be keen to hear recommendations for the slimmest back protectors anyone has. They're now mandatory for No Limits track days and there's been a Christmas and Easter between my last track day and next...biggrin

I have an Alpinestars Nucleon one and that's pretty slim.
My leathers are a nice close fit and i can wear it all day without even noticing its there.

Unfortunately, the ultra-slim stuff (D30 Ghost of SAS-TEC Phantom) is limb armour, not back protectors.

Does your riding shirt's manufacturer offer a back protector insert you can buy? If not, I recommend measuring the pocket inside your riding shirt to determine its dimensions. These dimensions will determine which back protector insert will fit.

As you say it's not that one you linked.

I'm sure I saw the Oxford level 2 stuff the other day when I was looking for something else?
