So with a slightest of press releases, SpeedUp Racing has terminated their contract with Romano Fenati with immediate effect.

No news as to why but clearly his performances in the Moto@ series have been far short of his supposed potential. But to terminate with immediate effect indicates a degree of internal strife that necessitated such a swift action.

Can he come back from this?? I'm thinking he's done as what team would want him with his obvious "issues"

Is this the little prick who pulled the brake lever of a competitor? If so, fk him. He deserves absolutely nothing and hopefully the ride will go to someone more deserving.

And unlikely to go back to Moto3, there's a age limit of 27 and he'll only have 1 year there before he's too old.

Expect him to arrive in World Supersport soon.

They were talking about this last weekend, apparently he's not settling into the bike and the team boss made it sound a mutual decision. God knows what he does next.

After his 'indiscretion' i am surprised anyone wanted to touch him, yes everyone deserves a 2nd chance but could have killed a competitor and that must be inexcusable in any extreme sport so its best if he finds something else to do with his time so he doesnt try it again at some point,

He should never have bene allowed back into top level racing, like Canepa, but teams will do anything to get a fast rider, he is undoubtedly that.

Always knew, like McPhee possibly, he would struggle on a big bike, so long n a tiddler, but that bike only suits certain riders anyway

A Moto3 team who need a result to keep their sponsors happy might gamble on him.

I don't think the sponsors would be happy backing him. Who would want professional affiliation with a dangerous idiot? Can just imagine the convo in the boardroom hehe

If you're on payment by installments and by results you just might take the gamble to get you through a few races.

I remember that stunt he pulled with the brake lever. What a complete . At the time, Cal Crutchlow called him out saying he should be banned from racing forever. I have to say I agreed with him then & still think the same. There has to be a line in the sand for certain behaviours.
