Heated Grips recommendation
Discussion
Koso Apollo / techno globe gold

I have had these a few years, control button is neatly placed on the end of the grip and they say they won't flatten the battery. They did stop working once after a heavy downpour but were fine later that day.
The technoglobes were cheaper than the Koso and available in different lengths when I bought them a few years ago.
Haven't tried Oxford grips to compare but I find them warm enough, usually on 2, 3 when cold and wet.

Oxford hot grips are the best I've used, they get proper hot, switch themselves off and aren't too ugly.
Aren't too ugly? Are you on another planet, Jazoli? They're utterly minging, they look like Fisher Price.Anyway - another recommendation for the Tecno Globe "Gold" from me too, although the set I had did pack up, but my mates are still going fine.

Not sure if they are still being sold, but I always fitted Daytona heated grips to my bikes. Found them to be much better and more durable than the the Oxford grips I tried previously.
I’ve had more sets of these than any others and never had any fail, they just get sold with the bikes. Bombproof and subtle switch. Only problem is that the heat settings are either high (parallel) or low (series) so they’re either not warm enough or set your hands alight. Scrump said:

It's a while ago now, but I removed my existing non-heated grips and fitted flexible heating panels around the bar before refitting the grips.
Worked fairly well and looked unobtrusive, but did involve a bit more mucking about fitting a switch/controller and having a suitable space to put it.
Came in a kit, but can't recall what is was called or where from.

Absolutely no use to the op but I only just realised the bike I've owned for 18 months has heated grips. I was aiming for the kill switch and hit the start button by mistake opening up a menu I'd never seen before
This just really made me laugh 😂 Thanks for all the replies. I’m now researching the options suggested. Will keep you posted on final decision and install pic
The Oxford control panel is a bit... bulky. Functional, but not exactly pretty.
I fitted a set of the oxford "essential" hotgrips to my wife's scoot. They only draw 3A so are perfect for a smaller bike. Instead of the big bulky control panel they have a small waterproof rocker switch that you can locate in a handy place (hi-off-low). Only two heat settings but they're well judged IMO.
The instructions tell you to wire them directly into the battery but that sounded like a disaster waiting to happen so found a suitable ignition+ to piggy back from.
