Just found this on Sky Documentaries and watching it now.

Looks to be a documentary on Marco in a similar vein to Senna.

Its a good watch, seeing his dad struggling to speak at times is heartbreaking.

I wonder how many Titles he would have won?
He was exciting to watch.
If you ever get the chance, visit the Museum in Italy, in his village.

Not sure? It was a Sky Documentaries programme.

The documentary doesn't cover the crash, or the year of his crash either. It focuses on his early years, and mainly the 2007/8 season.

Good - I wouldn't want to watch the crash again, a truly horrible thing.
I have Amazon, but not Now TV. Maybe its on Youtube or elsewhere???

Yeah I was really pleased they never covered it too.

Despite the tragic circumstances the documentary as a whole was a pretty positive feel good one.

Can't find the whole thing, but a quick search pulled up this clip from it.

You could not fail to be positive about Marco unless you rode against him for a while, he was a very very hard rider, people think Marquez is bad, Marco was very tough, he started to mellow in his latter years before his untimely passing, but he was one of the toughest riders ever, ask Bautista, Barbera, Jorge, Pedrosa, they all complained about him openly!!

He was great friends with Vale, and it was so awful that the great man was around when this happened, how he rode on after this I don't know, I will never forget his face when seeing the pictures coming back via the monitors, it was haunting

The crash and the aftermath are covered in one of the Moto GP films (Faster?) - the memorial to him is amazing.

At least the Sky doc has been dubbed, agree with the comment above about the Italian language.

Watched it as far as the 2008 season to the point where he and Bautista had the coming together in the 250s that Marco was initially blamed for but Bautista said was his fault due to the engine misfiring. The whole chat about how he thought he was going to end up in a fight was hilarious. Looking forward to the rest of it tonight but not the ending.

I have no doubt that the accident when he died affected Vale a whole lot more than he realised and maybe one day he may admit it.

Thank you, I neither speak Italian nor have a Sky subscription (having just cancelled the latter) and I had always wondered. Both me and Mrs N were very sad when he died, I had a 58 on my fairing for many years thereafter. I think they had a tribute involving all the GP riders in all classes which was rather moving.
