Incredible amount of fraudulent bike (and other vehicle) ads on eBay at the moment.
Seems to be one individual who is using legitimate eBay accounts to sell vehicles that he/she does not own.
Just 2 pictures, the second claiming to be an agency seller and requesting contact via a Gmail account.
Hopefully eBay can stop this happening.

And? its been going off for years but to be honest there so obvious I feel for the mental health of any poor sole that actually gets stung by one of these adverts. Seems to be one individual who is using legitimate eBay accounts to sell vehicles that he/she does not own.

Ebay has more important things to deal with so report button does fook all.
Saying that I actually got stung about 10 years ago as a seller, i advertised an iPhone with a buy it now. Ding Ding, £500 in your account and an eBay email saying your phone has sold.
5 minuets later the buyer emails me to ask if collection is ok as he is in the area. No problem I have the money
Next day Ebay remove the money after the buyer had collected, he purchased it through a hacked Ebay account. I didn't give in, it took me a year to get my money back due to a slight discrepancy in the Ebay system . Any one else would of given in.
I followed up on one of those adverts - for a boat, not a bike - to see what followed. I received an email from a different account to the one in the second picture. The boat belonged to someone who was abroad, it was located in the Highlands, and they would deliver if I paid cash in advance. A full house of clues that it's bogus?
Thanks for the replies.
Shortly after my original post all of the ads disappeared...
The photos used are being repeatedly used by the same fraudster and while I am certainly not an IT expert I wonder if it's possible for these photos to be blocked if someone tries to keep using them for fraudulent ads.
Is it possible to trace someone's location from the email address used?

As mak said, it’s been a long time scam. I was looking for a fairly rare car a few years ago and saw one on eBay. I got quite excited for a minute until I saw the advert was the scam format. Second photo is of an email address.
It really pissed me off for almost falling for it and for being disappointed that the car wasn’t actually up for sale. I’m sure eBay could do more to block them. I got bored reporting the adverts quite some time ago and I don’t bother anymore.

I'm sure one can be forgiven for being drawn in by an attractive car/price on an advert, but when the seller subsequently asks for money to be transferred without even seeing the damn vehicle, or something equally as dodgy, then alarms bells should start ringing with anyone who has a grasp of their own mind.
I've reported so many of them over the years as well. Each listing is a £19.99 fee for eBay, and I dread to think how many of them there are, so they aren't going to be in a rush to clamp down on them any time soon, I feel.
