Deleted the thread for you outnumbered. My banter and madness cannot and will not be tolerated.
If only they knew half of it Some won't appreciate the sheer quality of these race stickers but that Spanish guy when admiring the bikes and saying 'how you say I love AN.AL' still makes me laugh
And the old bill on those segways giving zero f*cks about my completely bald rear after just riding through snow and asking what is 'bum s3x'
Would be boring if everyone was the same so I appreciate those that don't like, find funny or appreciate... It makes me do it more
Bob_Defly I didn't want you to feel left out. Your Canadian humour might be a little different to ours
As for the trip - for the majority of the week it was brilliant. A few hiccups, but no injuries or real damage
My bike did go through 1/2lt of oil though!
Seeing so much history. This in particular was a real reminder of how lucky we are now
Every day having cake or pizza for breakfast, brunch or lunch. The French know how to do pastries!
And seeing cafes like this throughout the trip
My favourite cafe which outnumbered and I had our first date
Going from 20+ degrees to this where piginawig genuinely nearly got ill from the extreme cold and rain
Then this only half a day later - again amazing local food, people and atmosphere
Me looking for Black K1 to put some more stickers on
Every evening going into the local towns and just having a proper laugh while appreciating everything they had to wake up to daily
And churches... There were a lot and some just huge
So yep that was the trip. 2500 miles, 1 crash from 2 of the group first day, 4 out of the 6 needing tyre changes 4 days in. A lot of fuel used, more alcohol than I'd care to think about drank and local food including beef which at times I thought was still moo'ing. Cracking time
Cheers piginawig - you made me laugh so much

I don't understand why you deleted your post. If that's the sort of thing you chaps enjoy on your tours then I'm pleased for you. Just because others don't understand it is no reason for you to remove your posts and I, for one, enjoy reading about biking trips around Europe.Birky_41 said:

The war memorial was a place called Villy La Ferte - the battle was on My 17th 1940. We were whizzing through the countryside and stumbled upon the site by chance. Very humbling and the locals keep the cemetery and the site in amazing condition. I will be doing Normandy and a few other sites later in the year as I have yet to visit any of them. I removed the original posts as I hate having my humour questioned - we are all different but I don't expect to get flamed for being me. Outnumbered with all his 'yeah, mad banter st.... snowflakes belong at 5000 feet, I expected better from this forum.
