XLMOTO sales and service ?

Anyone used XLMOTO recently ?

They have a cracking deal on the Shark Evo GT lid I like, £100 cheaper the Sports bike shop.

Says 10 day delivery, which is ok with me. I'm assuming its coming in from Europe somewhere. But if there's a problem, faulty or sizing, is it more hassle than its worth sorting it out ?

I bought a disc lock from them mainly because I couldn’t get it cheaper anywhere else.

It probably took about the 10 days for it to arrive.

Sorry I can’t help with the returns or problems side.

Sports bike shop matched their price (well almost, XLmoto had a further 10% off, but for the hassle I'd sooner buy in the UK and get easy returns/exchanges etc)

A few of us on the bargains thread have made use of their recent deal for a jacket and jeans for £80.

Worn mine for the first time today and impressed for the price, fit is pretty much spot on (I did check some measurements prior to ordering rather than guessing!).

Took 6 days to arrive from Sweden I believe, not sure how much hassle it would be if there was an issue, there was a returns form thing in the box when they arrived.

recently purchased a jacket from XLMOTO foolishly without trying one on first (i'm almost always bang on 42 so took a risk).

Arrived in ~6 days. Shipped from sweden to a distributor in London.

Returned it (too big) and other than the cost of shipping (~£7), refund in bang on 2 weeks.

I would always go with SBS if you can though.

Bought a basic Sena unit from them recently, when it arrived, most of the bits in the box were missing with a load of empty plastic bags where they should have been. Took photo's & used the returns process, return approved within a day or so & about 4 days after sending it back a new one turned up, complete this time.

So a pain not to get the complete unit 1st time round, but no issues with the return/replacement.
