Anyone tried swapping from a typical seat cover to a grippy/suede/microfiber/alcantara one?

I rode a couple of hundred miles at the weekend on a new bike with a really grippy artificial suede type seat cover. I liked the locked in feeling, but my inner thighs were a bit achy afterwards.

Any experiences?

I tried one of these.

https://www.coolcovers.co.uk/products/motorcycle-s...

It does keep things cooler in hot weather & is grippier (not suede etc levels) than the standard seat on my bike.
I liked it & kept it on.

If you just want to try a grippy seat cover on your existing bike then get a role of this stuff:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/INMOZATA-Multipurpose-Pad...

and put it over your existing seal cover. Cheap and easy and will let you know if the feel of a grippy seat cover is what you want.

I use this for the pillion seats of my bike to stop the pillions sliding around.

Wife put a new seat on her Honda Monkey and it was too slippy.
Used goalie grip spray on it and works a treat! GloveGlu
